Saree reveals details of Yemeni Operation Break Siege II
Yemeni armed forces spokesperson Yahya Saree announces that the Sanaa forces have carried out Operation Break Siege II in Saudi Arabia in response to its coalition's escalation and blockade.
The Sanaa forces have launched offensives on several vital Saudi targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Samtah, among others, using ballistic missiles and UAVs, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced Sunday.
The Yemeni Armed Forces possess coordinates that constitute a special targets list, which "include a vast number of vital sites that could be attacked at any given moment."
Saree also warned Riyadh of the repercussions of its blockade on Yemeni facilities and economic sectors, pledging that Sanaa carries out a military operation to break the unjust blockade. The operation, according to Saree, would include "sensitive targets the criminal enemy would never have thought of."
The comprehensive operation the armed forces have carried out comes as part of its response to the continuation of aggression and arbitrary blockade, Saree added.
Saudi state-controlled media had earlier reported that Riyadh's forces had intercepted four drones launched toward Khamis Mushait and the southern region of Saudi Arabia.
Last week, the Saudi coalition launched eight air raids on the border districts of Al-Zahir and Shada on the western outskirts of Saada Governorate and two raids on the Al-Far area in the Al-Kitaf border district, east of the governorate.
On March 11, Saree announced the targeting of the Aramco facility in the depths of Saudi Arabia as an initial part of Operation Break Siege I.
The Saudi-led coalition of aggression said it had been perceiving "aggressive international attacks" launched from the Sanaa International Airport.
