One Yemeni civilian was martyred and six others were injured Tuesday after the Saudi-led coalition bombed Al-Raqo area of the Munabbah district, Saada, local sources reported on Tuesday.

Yemeni human rights and developments institute the Eye of Humanity Center said, "The killing and destructive machine of the Saudi-led coalition is committing crimes against innocent civilians in the border areas and villages of the Saada Governorate."

The humanitarian organization condemned "the coalition's crimes, which are seen by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as war crimes."

Furthermore, it condemned "the international community and the international organization's silence, especially the United Nations, which is standing idle regarding the crimes committed by the coalition and its mercenaries against Yemenis."

In a different context, a military source in the Sanaa government reported that Yemen recorded 151 violations committed by the Saudi-led coalition in Al-Hudaydah, including reconnaissance aircraft violating Yemen's sovereignty and 61 artillery shells being fired at the city.

The United Nations said Monday that it required $4.3 billion this year to help millions of people in war-torn Yemen.

Humanitarian organizations require the funds to assist more than 17 million people in the country, which has been destroyed by an eight-year Saudi-led war and blockade.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed during the Saudi-led war, which has thrown the poorest country on the Arabian Peninsula into one of the world's worst humanitarian disasters.

Yemen has been suffering for about 8 years now, due to the Saudi coalition's aggression against the country. The humanitarian situation remains difficult due to the ongoing blockade of ports imposed by the Saudi coalition forces, which limits the availability of fuel, food, and medicine, leaving thousands of sick Yemenis to their own fate

A report that came out in January disclosed some serious statistics of casualties in Yemen due to the US-Saudi-led coalition which has been regularly bombing civilian areas since 2015.

Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world, has for 14 consecutive months (January 2021 to the end of February 2022) endured more than four armed attacks on civilians on a daily basis, the Oxfam report states.

The report found that air raids carried out by the US-UK-Saudi-led coalition were using weapons solely supplied by the UK and the US.

It found that the use of these weapons accounted for about a quarter of all attacks on civilians, which amounted to 1,700 attacks on Yemenis that either killed them, wounded them, or forced them to be displaced.

They also found that between the period of January 2021 to the end of February 2022, the US-UK-Saudi-led coalition was responsible for at least: 87 civilian deaths and 136 injuries; 19 attacks on hospitals, clinics, and ambulances; and 293 attacks that forced people to flee their homes – 39% of all attacks causing displacement.

It is noteworthy that a human rights report issued in late December documented "the crimes of the US-Saudi aggression during the year 2022" and indicated that the total number of victims reached 3,083; 643 martyrs and 2,440 injuries.
