Saudi Coalition Raids Target Sana'a
The Saudi coalition launched new raids on several Yemeni regions, and in the Marib Governorate, northeastern Yemen, killing and wounding Hadi forces, including a field commander.
The planes of the Saudi coalition launched seven airstrikes, targeting the Raymah Hamid area in the Sanhan district in the southern countryside of the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.
Saudi coalition warplanes also bombed the communications network in the Harf Sufyan district in the Amran governorate, and three air raids targeted the Sahar and Majz districts in the governorate of Saada in northern Yemen.
The coalition said it had carried out airstrikes on official military targets in Sana'a and Saada, including sites for ballistic missiles, drones, and weapons depots.
It is worth noting that the areas and sites targeted by the Saudi coalition aircraft have become out of service since they were bombed for the first time in 2015 with dozens of air raids.
However, the Saudi coalition repeatedly bombed them, claiming the destruction of ballistic warehouses and platforms for launching drones.
Moreover, in the Marib governorate in northeastern Yemen, multiple soldiers belonging to the Hadi forces were killed and wounded, including the field commander, Sheikh Awad bin Ma’ili.
The field commander got killed after violent confrontations took place on the sides separating the districts of Juba and Wadi Ubaidah on the southern side of the city of Marib.
The Falaj security point is the Southern entrance to the capital of the Marib Governorate and the main transportation node of the city.
It represents an access point and crossing for the vital roads of the Safer-Al-Abar Hadramout and Al-Juba-Al-Bayda lines, which connect the city of Marib with the governorates of Hadhramout, Shabwa, and Al-Bayda.
