Saudi-led coalition covering up for Israeli crimes: PIJ leader
Palestinian Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhalah praises the Yemeni people for their solidarity with the Palestinian cause, calling for the end of the war and the blockade on the country.
Those committing aggression against Yemen are growing closer to the Israeli occupation and covering up for its crimes, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhalah said on Monday.
"The normalizing Arab states have been occupied with suppressing their peoples and creating domestic conflicts in our countries and societies," al-Nakhalah said as part of his speech during a conference about Palestine, entitled: "Palestine: The central cause of the Ummah".
The conference kicked off in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, on Monday, and was attended internationally in support of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.
Al-Nakhalah praised Yemen for standing up for Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa mosque, and the Palestinian cause "despite the suffering", and hailed the Yemeni people and the authorities, stressing that the people of Yemen and Palestine were undergoing the same injustice.
The PIJ chief went on to call for ending the war on Yemen and ending the embargo imposed on the country, welcoming any efforts toward ending the war.
Palestinians adhering to their historical rights
The Palestinian people are adhering to their pledge to undertake resistance against the Israeli occupation, al-Nakhalah stressed. "They are still adhering to their historical rights in Palestine and Al-Quds, and today, they are more capable of confronting the Zionist tyranny," he added.
"The killers cannot change historical facts, they cannot terrorize us, and they cannot take away our religion and beliefs," the Palestinian official said.
Normalization harmed the Ummah: Raad
Lebanese Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc chief Mohammad Raad said, "The brave and patient Palestinian people have proved that they are determined to completely liberate their land."
He also touched on the Yemeni people and leadership, praising their stances and position on the Palestinian cause. "We are proud of the Yemeni people for standing with the Palestinian people," he said.
Seeking normalization "did not benefit the Ummah", MP Raad said, but rather caused it to become underestimated along with its capabilities.
