Yonhap news agency reported, citing military sources, that North Korea has fired two cruise missiles into the sea off its east coast.
According to Yonhap, the South Korean military is examining Tuesday's launches to ascertain the type of projectiles.
It is worth mentioning that North Korea has also conducted four rounds of ballistic missile tests in recent weeks.
Reuters reported that North Korea could lift a self-imposed moratorium on testing atomic bombs and long-range missiles.
