Settler blown in new flag ambush in Ramallah amid West Bank escalation
Following the three-day siege of Tulkarm and the martyrdom of dozens of its youth, the West Bank inaugurated a comprehensive strike condemning the Israeli occupation's aggression and lauding the Resistance's escalated operations.
Two Palestinian youths were martyred by the Israeli occupation, on Sunday, at the junction of Beit Anoun village, northeast of al-Khalil amid a clear escalation in the West Bank.
The Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the two young men, and afterwards prevented ambulance crews from reaching them and attending to them.
The IOF then stormed Beit Anoun village in large numbers, as they were deployed on the roads and around Palestinian residents' houses, raiding a number of them. The IOF searched the houses they raided and vandalized them.
Israeli media reported that a settler was ambushed on Sunday while attempting to remove a Palestinian flag, resulting in an explosion caused by an explosive device concealed inside it, northeast of Ramallah.

This is reminiscent of the flag ambush of 2018, which led to several casualties among Israeli occupation forces after they threw a Palestinian flag on the ground before it exploded in their faces.

West Bank comprehensive strike takes off
On Sunday, a strike spread across the West Bank to condemn the massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces in Nur Shams camp, Tulkarm Governorate, and the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, which is now in its 198th day.
Schools, universities, and shops closed as mass calls urged continued confrontation activities with the occupation in every city, village, and camp, alongside anger marches.
Public transportation services halted and movement of Palestinian residents has been very limited. Factories were shuttered, and banks suspended operations as per the Monetary Authority's decision.
In occupied Palestine, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that occupation forces partially withdrew from Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm after a three-day siege amid dire conditions.
Additionally, the occupation closed the Hamra checkpoint in the occupied Jordan Valley due to heightened alert following the Resistance's shooting operations.
In Ramallah, the Resistance reportedly shot at an Israeli occupation forces military jeep.
The situation across the West Bank is anticipated to escalate following statements made by the Resistance movements late at night on Saturday promising retaliation.
