Side by side: Palestinian Resistance factions announce mobilization
In line with Mohammad Deif's announcement, Palestinian Resistance factions have joined in on Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), is part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the military spokesperson of al-Quds Brigades, Abu Hamza, stated on Saturday.
Abu Hamza said the Brigades fighters stand side by side with their comrades in Hamas "until victory is achieved."
The spokesperson followed up his remarks with another statement later on Saturday, saying the Resistance has achieved a new chapter of victory.
Abu Hamza added that the continuous calls for settlers to peacefully leave the territories that they had occupied went in vain.
Therefore, the Resistance had to launch this historic and resounding operation which has shown the truthfulness of the Resistance's promises, the military spokesperson said.
Abu Hamza underlined that al-Quds Brigades fighters are still deployed across several Israeli settlements alongside comrades from other Palestinian factions.
Importantly, the spokesperson emphasized that the military wing of the PIJ holds multiple Israeli occupation soldiers captive.
Abu Obeida addresses Palestinians
On his part, the military spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Abu Obeida, said the operation "is going according to plan," adding that "Israel" will be "wonder-struck when it wakes up from its state of shock to the proportion of its losses."
He also urged Palestinians in the West Bank and al-Quds to take action against Israeli settlements and checkpoints, calling on them to make the occupation pay the price for its desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque.
Abu Obeida took a dig at Israeli settlers who chanted, "Where are the Arabs?" in al-Aqsa, saying "Here is your answer," in reference to the wide-scale operation which has resulted in at least 35 captured soldiers and settlers and continued confrontations in seven Israeli settlements since the early hours of the morning.
Finally, he stressed that the prisoner's case remains a focal point of this operation, adding that the families of Palestinian prisoners will soon receive good news.
West Bank Resistance groups call for mobilization
On its part, the West Bank-based Lions' Den announced general mobilization in conjunction with Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, while al-Quds Brigades and al-Qassam Brigades in Jenin announced that they have executed a shooting operation on the Salem checkpoint near Jenin this morning.
The Lions' Den also urged its fighters to immediately respond to the calls to join the operation, calling on them to ambush Israeli occupation forces.
