Lula da Silva set to meet Maduro in Argentina for CELAC summit
Brazil rejoined CELAC when Silva was elected president after Bolsonaro had suspended Brazil's participation back in 2020.
According to Brazilian media, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is set to meet with his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolas Maduro, during his visit to Argentina.
According to the G1 news portal, the meeting is scheduled to take place in the afternoon. It is still unclear whether a statement will be issued subsequently in regard to the results of the meeting.
President Silva arrived in Argentina on Sunday. He will be reportedly holding bilateral meetings with local officials during his 3-day visit. Additionally, he will attend the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States heads of state summit (CELAC).

CELAC is a regional intergovernmental forum founded in 2010 to promote integration and development through the collaboration between Latin American and Caribbean countries.
