“I want to stress that the Israel Police, these days, as you understand, is stretched to the limit,” he says, adding, “My heart is with the injured, but it seems like this is what we’ll have to face in this period and we need to be strong.”

Hamas calls for more strikes against the occupation, hailing the operations

Moroever, in a statement released by Hamas, the movement hailed the latest operation against illegal settlers, stressing that the operation sends a powerful message that the occupation's ongoing crimes in Gaza and the West Bank will not go unpunished, and emphasizing that the "spirit of resistance will remain ignited, with its strikes continuing deep within enemy territory".

It added that the operation reaffirms that the occupation's aggression "will only bestow fear and suffering upon itself, and its massacres against our people will be met with increased determination, defiance, and resistance".

The movement emphasized that the ongoing and intensifying nature of these targeted operations, one year after the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, showcases the Resistance's capability to effectively confront the occupation and thwart its efforts to undermine the Palestinian cause.

"We call for more intense strikes against the occupation and the mobilization of confrontations across all fronts, utilizing every available means and tool, until the aggression ceases and the occupation is dismantled," the statement asserted.

Today's operation comes after an Israeli occupation soldier was killed and 13 others were injured in a shooting operation, conducted in occupied Beer al-Sabe, in southern occupied Palestine, on October 6.

Israeli media outlets reported at the time that a Palestinian man, Ahmad Said al-Aaqbi, from the town of Hura, in occupied Beer al-Sabe, conducted the operation using both a knife and pistol.

Al-Aaqbi was martyred after being shot by Israeli occupation forces at a bus station.

Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 pointed to the complexities of the operation, which was conducted at three different points in the central bus station.
