Solidarity rally following the 202nd demolition of Al-Araqib village
Once again, Israeli occupation forces demolish the village of Al-Araqib, and Palestinians rally in solidarity with the villagers voicing support to them in their struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip participated, on Saturday, in a solidarity rally with the residents of the village of Al-Araqib, located in Al-Naqab region, after it was subjected to Israeli demolition for the 202nd time, last Tuesday.
The participants in the solidarity rally, organized by the "Badia Tribes Union", east of Gaza, raised banners that read, "From Gaza to Al-Araqib, one people in the face of the occupation," and "Al-Araqib continues to stand."
In a speech on behalf of the tribes participating in the rally, Mahmoud Abu Ghayat said, "The village of Al-Araqib is exposed to the ugliest racist and destructive Israeli practices," noting that "the occupation is trying to obliterate the Arab identity of this village and its people, through its continuously unjust actions and by desecrating people’s homes."

He stressed that "Al-Araqib is an occupied Arab Palestinian village, as is the rest of the land of Palestine, and the Israelis have no right whatsoever to it."
The Palestinians called for the necessity of "supporting the residents of Al-Araqib at this difficult stage in which they are subjected to Israeli violations, including campaigns of destruction, distortion, and arrest."
A few days ago, the Israeli occupation demolished the village of Al-Araqib for the 202nd consecutive time, in an attempt to expel residents from their land in Al-Naqab to build new illegal settlements.
In 2010, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the village for the first time. Ever since, whenever the villagers rebuilt their homes, the IOF demolished them.
