One killed, two injured in stabbing operation in occupied al-Naqab
An increase in operations in the occupied territories is prompted by the aggression on the West Bank.
Three Israeli settlers were injured, including one in critical condition, in "Beit Kama" in the occupied al-Naqab desert. The critical injury was transported by emergency services to Sokora Hospital, as reports emerge from Israeli media outlets asserting that he died.
Later, the critically injured Israeli was confirmed dead and identified as First Sargeant Uri Moyal.
The stabbing occurred near the "Beit Kama" intersection in the northern al-Naqab desert near a gas station, according to Israeli news website Ynet.
The man who carried out the stabbing operation was shot dead shortly after.
On Wednesday, a Palestinian stabbed two Israeli occupation soldiers at an Israeli checkpoint in a tunnel linking Beit Lahm to occupied al-Quds in the West Bank.
The Palestinian man who executed yesterday's operation approached the checkpoint via an electrical motorcycle before rushing at the soldiers and stabbing two of them.
Stabbing operations have increased in frequency since the holy month of Ramadan as Israeli occupation forces continue to launch a war on the Gaza Strip while also raiding multiple cities in the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian Resistance factions have called on all Muslims and Palestinians to mobilize against the Israeli occupiers during Ramadan after Israeli authorities dismissed the demands of the Resistance for a permanent ceasefire in mediated negotiations.
Earlier today, the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas called on Palestinian people across al-Quds, the West Bank, and the '48 occupied territories to urgently defend the sacred al-Aqsa Mosque on the first Friday of Ramadan. The plea comes following years of aggressive, brutal, and discriminatory policies practiced by Israeli authorities in al-Aqsa.
The Resistance movement urged active participation in breaking the Israeli siege imposed on al-Aqsa, insisting that Palestinians must be able to pray and gather within its courtyards.
In its statement, Hamas said, "Gaza, which brought forth the glorious Al-Aqsa Flood, is still fighting the greatest of battles against the enemy after 160 days," urging "our people to actively partake in breaking the occupation's siege on Al-Aqsa, pray in it, defend it, and spend the nights there in worship."
Hamas also emphasized its insistence that the people of occupied Palestine perform their prayers exclusively at al-Aqsa Mosque.
