Supporting Palestine is 'manifestation of anti-Semitism': Israeli amb.
The Israeli ambassador to Russia says “Israel” would not go down without a fight, "we will defend ourselves and our enemies will pay a heavy price.”
"Israel's" ambassador to Moscow, Alexander Ben Zvi, relayed to journalists on Monday that pro-Palestine protests amid the war on Gaza are nothing but "manifestations of anti-Semitism".
This follows the most recent protests on Sunday, after pro-Palestinian protesters marched to the home of US President Joe Biden, accusing him of being an accomplice to Palestinian "genocide" and on the same day, as much as 300,000 people marched in London in support of Palestine.
According to Russia’s RBK news outlet, Ben Zvi commented on those protests saying they were "not pro-Muslim … but are specifically anti-Israeli, anti-Jewish."
"They are not just against Israel … it’s a new type of anti-Semitism," he added.
"And where will Israel be? … In the sea? This points to the destruction of the State of Israel," he expressed, as he referred to the slogan ‘from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free’ - chanted in almost every pro-Palestine protest and march around the world.

In the wake of Operation al-Aqsa Flood, which began on October 7, a wave of global demonstrations has unfolded, shedding light on the profound divisions surrounding the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The Israeli National Security Institute reported that there has been an escalation in anti-Israeli sentiment, with protests taking place nearly all over the world.
According to comprehensive data analysis published on November 12, a total of 3,891 demonstrations, expressing both support and opposition to the Israeli occupation, have taken place in 92 countries, underscoring the growing hatred for "Israel" in light of its aggression on Gaza.
The Israeli occupation has taken on approximately 30 billion shekels ($7.8 billion) in debt since the start of its aggression on Gaza, as reported by the Finance Ministry on Monday.
Out of the total amount, around 16 billion shekels were raised through dollar-denominated debt in international markets, highlighting the Israeli occupation's efforts to seek financial support on a global scale.
In addition to this, the Finance Ministry conducted a weekly bond auction in the local market, resulting in the acquisition of an additional 3.7 billion shekels.
