Supreme Political Council in Sanaa executes government radical change
The National Defense Council in the Yemeni government of Sanaa responds to Sayyed al-Houthi's calls for radical changes.
The National Defense Council in the Yemeni government of Sanaa ended the mission of the current government headed by Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, in response to Sayyed al-Houthi's calls for radical changes, assigning it to conduct regular public affairs except for appointment and dismissal.
The decision came a few hours after the speech of Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi on Wednesday on the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
The Council held an emergency meeting headed by the head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, to discuss the contents of the speech that called for radical change in the Yemeni government.
During the meeting, the Council praised the government's role during the recent period, despite the obstacles it faced in terms of aggression, siege, and the limited resources available.
