Al Mayadeen correspondent in Syria reported that the Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli air attack on the Masyaf area, located in the west of Hama Governorate.
On the other hand, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Beirut pointed out that the Israeli attack on Syria coincided with the flight of the occupation warplanes over the Jbeil Keserwan area, north of the Lebanese capital.
The official Syrian news agency, SANA, quoted a military source as saying that "at around 6:45 pm today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of northern Lebanon, targeting some points in the central region."
The military source added that "the air defenses confronted the aggression's missiles and shot down some of them," and that "assessing the results of the aggression is underway."
