Syria: An Israeli Missile Attack Targeting Quneitra
Preliminary information about an Israeli missile attack targeting the Qurs al-Nafl area, west of the town of Hader in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Syria, on Tuesday evening, reported that “an Israeli missile attack targeted the Qurs al-Nafl area, west of the town of Hader in the northern countryside of Quneitra.”
The official Syrian news agency, SANA, relays that the preliminary information indicates "an Israeli missile aggression on the west of the town of Hader in the northern countryside of Quneitra."
The agency stated that explosion sounds were heard in Quneitra province, while the Syrian News channel reported " an Israeli aggression."
Syrian media indicated that the aggression was carried out with at least two missiles on the site of Qurs al-Nafl, near the village of Hader.
Activists posted on social media a video clip that documented the moment the Qurs al-Nafl hill, west of the town, was targeted with guided missiles.

Previously, on August 2, the Syrian air defenses shot down a scouting plane near Azzan area in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
On July 22, the Syrian air defenses also repelled an Israeli offensive at the al-Dabaa airport in the Homs countryside, while Israeli planes flew simultaneously over the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.
