Syrian Delegation Visits Jordan for Bilateral Cooperation
A Syrian delegation of ministers arrived in Jordan on Monday to discuss scheduled plans of gas transfers and reopening land crossings.
Syrian Ministers of Water, Resources, Agriculture, Electricity, and Economy have arrived in Jordan on Monday to discuss a multitude of subjects.
The main topics on the table will be those of energy, water, and plans of gas transportation.
Plans of supplying Lebanon with electric power and passing Egyptian gas through Syria will be touched on as well as ensuring border security, confront smuggling, and simplifying administrative procedures between the neighboring countries.
In an effort to restore trade and tourism between the two countries, the Jordanian Ministry of Interior announced the reopening of the Jaber border crossing with Syria, starting next Wednesday.
