Takht Ravanchi: Iran rejects use of force in cyberspace
Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN, Majid Takht Ravanchi reveals that Iran has been the target of numerous cyberattacks.
Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN, Majid Takht Ravanchi, stated that Iran has been the target of several cyber attacks by the US and the Zionist entity, warning that the use of force in cyberspace is "unacceptable".
During the first meeting of the Open Working Group on the Security and Application of Information and Communication Technologies, Ravanchi revealed that Iran was targeted by the US and Zionist entity and subjected to cyber attacks like StackNet.
Ravanchi emphasized the need for the Open Working Group to fully comply with UN Resolution 240 of the 75th General Assembly.
He called for relevant international law, rules, and principles to be developed through negotiations and efforts to bring countries together in different ways.
The meeting is one in a series of one-week seminars aimed at improving cybersecurity in international cyberspace.
