The Martyrdom of Released Palestinian Prisoner Hussein Masalmeh
The Palestinian Prisoners Authority announces the martyrdom of the freed prisoner Hussein Masalmeh at Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, to which he was transferred last February.
The Palestinian Prisoners Authority in Israeli Occupation Prisons announced the death of freed prisoner Hussein Masalmeh at Istishari Hospital in Ramallah.
The Prisoners Information Office commented on the martyrdom of the freed prisoner, saying that he was subjected to a deliberate assassination by the occupation which neglected his treatment during his imprisonment, letting cancer ravage his body until it reached a critical stage.
In its statement, the Prisoners Information Office added that "with the martyrdom of the liberated prisoner Hussein Masalmeh only a few months after his release, the alarm bell has sounded for dozens of sick prisoners, 15 of whom suffer from cancer."
Hussein Masalmeh spent 19 years in occupation prisons and was transferred upon his release in February to the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, succumbing to cancer.
Prior to his release, the martyr was subjected to deliberate medical procrastination and neglect before he was transferred from the an-Naqab prison to the hospital, where his late-stage leukemia was discovered.
