Thousands of protesters swarmed the streets of London, ready to march in solidarity with Palestine.
Banners asking that the UK government cease supporting and equipping the Israeli occupation may be seen in videos from the rally, which pro-Palestine activists have repeatedly made since October 2023.
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign uploaded footage of British MP Jeremy Corbyn and actor Khalid Abdalla participating in the march.

A counter-protest organized by Stop the Hate has gathered at the intersection of Haymarket and Coventry Street, near Piccadilly Circus. Barriers and cops were in place to keep the groups apart as they passed each other. According to authorities, the pro-Palestinian march passed counter-protesters without incident.
Ben Jamal, head of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, declared that the genocide in Gaza "has not ended," adding it is being continued through other means like "blocking supplies which are essential to human life."
"Israel’s desire to ethnically cleanse and colonise Gaza has not disappeared; it remains a clear and present danger, which is now evident in the West Bank also," he maintained.
The demonstrations coincide with the arrival of tens of thousands of football fans in London ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup Final between Newcastle United and Liverpool at Wembley Stadium.
Pro-Palestine demonstrators are seen walking with posters and banners reading: "Stop arming Israel" and "Open your eyes, Keir, see what Israel is doing."

The protests come amid a tightened Israeli blockade on Gaza and the continued closure of border crossings.
Additionally, nine Palestinians, including two journalists, were killed earlier today when Israeli aircraft targeted a charity vehicle at the al-Attar junction in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
Despite the ceasefire, "Israel" continues its violations, with gunboats opening heavy fire in central Gaza, while an Israeli quadcopter struck the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah.
