Thousands of Israelis protest against the Bennett government
Thousands of Israelis are protesting against the Bennett government.
Thousands of Israeli took part in protests against Naftali Bennett's government on Tuesday throughout the occupied territories, with Knesset members also joining the protests.
Israeli i24 news website said the activists organized protests in which 20,000 people took part. Protestors told Israeli Channel 13 that people from all walks of society are protesting together against the administration of the government of "Israel".
Yedioth Ahnronoth also reported that thousands of Israelis raised banners that read "'Israel' is in danger - we want a Jewish state" in more than 100 intersections and bridges throughout the occupied territories.
These hardline protests come in parallel with another political crisis rocking "Israel", that of former PM Benjamin Netanyahu's possible plea deal in his corruption trial.
Yet on Sunday, Israeli media released polls Sunday that suggest most Israelis do not support a plea bargain for the war criminal, with the majority of those polled believing Netanyahu is guilty of the charges.
