Israeli media reported that three Israeli occupation troops were killed on Tuesday in ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip, raising the number of killed troops since October 7 to 560.
The media identified the killed troops as; Major (res.) Netzer Simchi, Captain (res.) Gavriel Shani, and Warrant officer (res.) Yuval Nir.
According to the media, Shani and Nir were killed in battles in south Gaza, while Simchi was killed in its north.
The number of Israeli troops killed since the start of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip now stands at 223, as per Israeli media.
This comes as the Palestinian Resistance continues, for the 116th day, engaging in fierce confrontations against the Israeli occupation forces on all axes in Gaza.
Earlier, the Palestinian Resistance confirmed targeting Israeli occupation tanks and troops, resulting in casualties and injuries among the invading forces, especially in Gaza City and Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip.

In a related context, the British newspaper The Telegraph reported that the number of killed and injured Israeli troops since October 7 is the "worst in four decades."
