Three drone boat Ukrainian attacks on Crimean Bridge intercepted: MoD
Russia's Black Sea fleet destroys three Ukrainian unmanned semi-submersibles that attempted to attack the Crimean Bridge overnight.
Russian defenses have neutralized three Ukrainian drone boat attacks on the Crimean Bridge overnight on Saturday, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD).
The latest of these failed attacks took place when an unmanned vessel attempted to strike the civilian infrastructure connecting the Peninsula to the rest of Russia at 2:20 AM (local time), the Russian Ministry said.
"On September 2, at about 02:20 a.m. Moscow time [2320 GMT Friday], the third Ukrainian semi-submersible unmanned boat, sent by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, was destroyed in the Black Sea," the Ministry stated.
Just 10 minutes earlier, the MoD said another naval drone attack on the Crimean Bridge was thwarted at 2:10 AM (local time), as Russian defenses destroyed the semi-submersible vessel in the Black Sea. The first attempt to attack the Bridge was registered at 23:15 PM on September 1, the Ministry of Defense stated.

Traffic to the Crimean Bridge was halted as a precautionary measure to later be resumed after the third attack was thwarted, a message from the Crimean response center read on Telegram.
"Motor traffic on the Crimean Bridge has been resumed," the statement said.
The Defense Ministry previously announced that its Black Sea Fleet had established permanent control in the body of water which has allowed it to foil several Ukrainian attacks on Crimea.
The Ministry revealed that its naval airforce had stopped a planned attack by Ukrainian special forces to land on the Crimean coast and carry out terrorist attacks against Russians.
Ukraine has also focused on targeting civilians in the Russian capital of Moscow after it acquired long-range attack drones from its Western backers.
On Friday, Russian air defenses dealt with several unmanned aerial vehicles that tried to attack Moscow at different times, as officials reported material damage to an administrative district.
