Russia: Ukrainian Special Services behind Tatarsky assassination
Russian authorities arrest Daria Trepova who was seen carrying an explosive device to a cafe in St. Petersburg on Sunday. Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee announce the involvement of Ukrainian Special Services and FBK in the attack
The Russian Investigative Committee detained Daria Trepova in St. Petersburg, Russia, on account of her involvement in the killing of Vladlen Tatarsky on Sunday.
The Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee revealed for the first time that the Ukrainian Special Services and the supporters of the extremist Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) planned the terrorist attack.
CCTV footage shows the suspect carrying a box into the cafe in which Tatarsky was assassinated via an explosive device.

The committee announced on Telegram, "Employees of the Russian Investigative Committee, together with operational services, detained Daria Trepova on suspicion of involvement in the explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg."
As confirmed by the Russian Investigative Committee the death of the war reporter was the result of the detonation of an unidentified explosive device. 32 other people were injured in the blast.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Monday, "Russia is facing the Kiev regime. This is the regime that supports terrorist attacks, this is the regime that is behind the murder of Darya Dugina, this is the regime that quite possibly is behind the murder of Fomin (Tatarsky), and behind the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, this is the regime that has been behind the murders of people for many years since 2014, which is why the special military operation is being carried out."
The Kremlin expressed its condolences to the relatives and friends of Tatarsky, and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured. The spokesperson also added that the investigation is still in an active phase and that "we should be patient and wait for the statements of our special services that are working on the case."
Russian investigations revealed Ukrainian involvement in the assassination of Darya Dugina in August last year.
Commenting on the series of events ,Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said, "All of this is being silently ignored by specialized international agencies, which can no longer be interpreted as acquiescence if not complicity."
