Turkish Occupation Forces bombarding al-Hasakah
Field reporters state that town of Abu Rasin was hit by more than 100 rockets, artillery, and mortar shells, causing significant damage to civilian properties.
After five days of military escalation against the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) in the northwestern countryside of al-Hasakah, a woman was martyred and ten others were wounded yesterday, Tuesday, as a result of intense artillery and missile shelling by the Turkish army and its loyal factions in the town of Abu Rasin and its countryside.
Artillery and missile shelling targeted the towns of Abu Rasin and the surrounding villages of Bab al-Khair, al-Abush, al-Dardara, and a graveyard in Abu Rasin town.
According to sources in the field, on Tuesday evening, the town of Abu Rasin was hit by hundreds of rockets, artillery, and mortar shells, leading to significant damage to civilian property.
Sources also reported that fighters on both sides were on high alert during the exchange of fire, and the Turkish bombings led to the deaths and injuries of several Syrian Democratic Forces.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense issued a statement announcing the killing of numerous members of the Syrian Democratic Forces while responding to infiltration attempts and attacks in the al-Hasaka countryside. The Syrian Democratic Forces denied any losses among its forces in the area.
