Two Israeli soldiers injured in suspected ramming south Nablus
The driver was able to withdraw from the site in southern Nablus, occupied West Bank.
Israeli media outlets reported on Tuesday that a Palestinian carried out a car-ramming operation at the Za'tara IOF checkpoint, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, and was able to withdraw from the scene.
Israeli news channel Kan channel said two injuries were reported among the Israeli occupation soldiers, describing their injuries as "moderate and minor."
Following the incident, Israeli occupation forces present at the site closed the checkpoint, the media outlet added.
A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army indicated that the Israeli forces stationed in the area opened fire on the individual who carried out the operation, "but he succeeded in fleeing," noting that the occupation forces launched a manhunt.
The spokesperson stated that the two injured soldiers were taken to the hospital.
Local Palestinian sources published scenes of an Israeli ambulance that appeared to be transporting the two soldiers who were wounded at the checkpoint.

It's noteworthy that this is the second car-ramming operation in less than a week that targeted Za'tara checkpoint, according to Israeli media.
On January 28, Israeli outlets claimed that a truck driver tried to ram into Israeli occupation soldiers at the checkpoint without any injuries reported.
The media added that the occupation soldiers opened gunfire at a Palestinian truck driver, however, he was able to withdraw from the scene.
