Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission in Palestine said on Sunday that prisoner Mohammad Al-Arida is being subjected to constant torture and abuse, and is currently suffering difficult conditions in prison.

Al-Arida is being kept in a cell that lacks basic necessities. He's being forced to sleep on an old and dirty mattress, which is causing his health condition to worsen.

He is also suffering from severe back pain and was taken to the infirmary, but the doctor only gave him pain killers and after much stalling, he was given an injection.

Following the heroic operation of the Freedom Tunnel, the occupation has ramped up its oppressive measures against #Palestinian prisoners, notably the heroes of the operation, in a desperate bid to deter them from snatching their rights and their freedom once again.#Palestine pic.twitter.com/mTODZgOjRI

As for prisoner Yaqoub Qadri, he is also suffering under similar conditions in a different prison, and occupation authorities still refuse to give him the necessary treatment.

Qadri is currently suffering from pain in his right arm, his shoulder, and his left foot as a result of a beating he suffered by prison authorities during his court session in Al-Nasirah. He is still in need of a CT scan but is still awaiting approval.

He also needs an eye operation because of an obstruction in his tear ducts, which is causing headaches and problems in his vision.

The operation was supposed to happen a year and a half ago, but he is still waiting for approval. Moreover, he is suffering from shortness of breath and is in need of medical diagnosis and serious attention.

Qadri and Al-Arida are two of the six prisoners who retrieved their freedom through a tunnel dug from their cell to outside Gilboa prison on September 6, 2021.

On September 10, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the first two prisoners from Gilboa prison, Yaqoub Qadri and Mahmoud Al-Arida. Then, on September 11, it arrested two others, Zakaria Al-Zubaidi, and Mohammad Al-Arida.
