An Israeli airstrike targeting a key Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) facility in Tehran has left two Iranian soldiers martyred and eight others wounded, according to Mehr news agency, citing military sources.
The aggression, which hit the IRGC's Tharallah Headquarters, Tehran’s main internal security command, caused significant destruction to the compound's core structure and damaged nearby civilian residences, drawing widespread condemnation in Iranian media for endangering lives and violating sovereignty.
The Israeli aggression extended beyond a single target. According to multiple regional sources, Israeli aircraft struck over a dozen locations in and around Tehran, including the Basij militia command, Sayyed al-Shohada Corps, the IRGC's Alborz Corps, and even Evin Prison and the Shahid Behshati University Campus.
Although Iranian officials have yet to issue a formal statement on the incident, regional developments indicate that Tehran's response is already unfolding.

Multiple sources, including AFP journalists and regional broadcasters, confirmed that the explosions were linked to Iranian missile fire targeting the US Al Udeid Air Base, widely considered a launchpad for recent Israeli and American operations against Iran.
Iranian outlets characterized the retaliatory move as "a mighty and successful response" against foreign aggression.
