UK charity campaigns to prosecute British nationals serving in IOF
Instead of addressing the radicalization of British citizens by violent Zionist ideology, the UK government has shielded them from prosecution.
The UK government continues to withhold the exact number of British nationals and dual Israelis who have joined the Israeli occupation forces, Declassified UK reported.
Following persistent inquiries to the Foreign Office, Declassified UK revealed in September 2023 that 80 British nationals were serving as "lone soldiers" in the Israeli military.
These "lone soldiers" are individuals who enlist in the IOF without immediate family in "Israel". However, the actual number of Britons involved is expected to be higher due to the participation of dual nationals, whose enlistment often goes unreported.
The government also revealed records of 20 to 30 British citizens living in illegal West Bank settlements.
Hundreds if not thousands of Brition fighting for "Israel"
Israeli reservist Sam Sank from north London told The Times he believes there are “hundreds if not thousands of Britons fighting for Israel.”
In addition to the Israeli "lone soldier" program, the UK permits the Mahal scheme, which allows foreign nationals to serve in the Israeli military and gain "permanent Israeli citizenship." Many of these individuals were among the 360,000 reservists called globally by "Israel" for support.
Instead of addressing the radicalization of British citizens by violent Zionist ideology, the UK government has shielded them from prosecution, despite "Israel's" involvement in war crimes, including apartheid, ethnic cleansing, illegal settlements, arbitrary detentions, and torture.
Desmond Tutu has described Israeli apartheid as “worse than South Africa’s.”
Double standards
UK citizens who joined the wars in Ukraine or Syria did not receive similar impunity. Aid workers who traveled to Syria for humanitarian reasons were stripped of their citizenship and barred from re-entering the UK. This double standard suggests that "Israel" remains exempt from international law violations.
The Human Aid & Advocacy organization has launched a campaign in Oxford Street, London, calling for the prosecution of British citizens who serve in the Israeli army. The UK has a legal and moral duty to prosecute nationals involved in war crimes abroad under the principle of universal jurisdiction, yet it has consistently failed to do so.
The International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) reported that while the UK’s Metropolitan Police actively investigates Britons fighting in foreign wars, there is no record of Britons who served in the Israeli occupation army being investigated.
In June 2022, the ICJP submitted a dossier to the police’s Counter Terrorism Command, detailing war crimes and violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention committed by Britons in the Israeli military. However, authorities have failed to investigate returning fighters from "Israel".
In recent months, images and videos have surfaced showing British soldiers in the Israeli army celebrating the destruction of Gaza.

One particularly disturbing incident involved Levi Simon, who was filmed waving an Israeli flag in a demolished Gaza school, declaring, “We’re here, we’re here to stay, we’re not going to take your terror, and they’re going to start teaching Hebrew in this school soon.”
In a related context, Aryeh King, a British citizen and deputy mayor of al-Quds, expressed satisfaction at seeing Palestinian men publicly humiliated and mistreated.
On X, he wrote, “If it were up to me, I would have dispatched D-9 bulldozers, placed them behind mounds of dirt, and ordered them to cover all these hundreds of ants while they’re still alive.”
Such statements and actions provide sufficient grounds to initiate investigations into potential involvement in genocide and war crimes.
Today marks one year since the devastating campaign against Gaza, and today we take action. 🚐💬

In response, Human Aid & Advocacy is launching the #ProsecuteGenocide campaign to urge the Metropolitan Police to investigate and prosecute British nationals who have traveled to "Israel" to fight in the Israeli army. Given that the UK has been informed of Israeli violations of international law, it has an even greater responsibility to prevent further escalation of Israeli war crimes and genocide.
