UK PM in 'Israel' amid ongoing aggression on Gaza, calls for 'peace'
Britain believes that Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey are important regional powers to coordinate with for upholding regional stability and freeing the captives.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak landed in "Israel" today, commencing a diplomatic mission that includes high-level meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
According to his office, the purpose of Sunak's visit is "to convey his condolences" to "Israel" and Gaza.
Sunak's office stated that the Prime Minister is resolute in his commitment to preventing any further escalation of the war in the Middle East.
"Every civilian death is a tragedy. And too many lives have been lost following Hamas’ horrific act of terror," Sunak said in a statement ahead of his visit, making no mention of the thousands of lost Palestinian lives in Israeli massacres so far while pledging “unequivocal” support for the Israeli entity.

Meanwhile, Sunak described the Israeli bombing of al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, just like his US ally, as a "deadly explosion", adding that it should serve as a watershed for the de-escalation of the conflict.

He urged leaders in the region and around the world to come together to prevent further dangerous escalation of conflict.
As part of his visit, Sunak will advocate for the urgent establishment of a humanitarian aid corridor from Egypt to Gaza. This corridor will help deliver essential aid to those in need and also facilitate the evacuation of British nationals from the blockaded strip.
At least seven British nationals have been killed and at least nine are missing, Sunak's spokesperson said on Wednesday.

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, who visited "Israel" last week, will reportedly travel to Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar over the next three days to discuss the war and seek a "peaceful resolution".
Britain believes that these three regional countries are "vital to international efforts to uphold regional stability, free hostages, and allow humanitarian access to Gaza."

Yesterday, US President Joe Biden landed in "Tel Aviv" at the head of an envoy of diplomats.
Biden met with Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and held a meeting with the Israeli war cabinet.
Biden played along to the Israeli narrative of the massacre in al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, accusing the Palestinian Resistance of the bombing.
The US President also reportedly pressed to establish "safe zones" within Gaza and assured occupation officials that the US will continue to make efforts to ensure that "Israel" has everything it needs to “defend” itself.
