Comrade Dr. Ranjeet Brar and 3 comrades from the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGBML) were arrested on Sunday in London during a demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Reports reveal that the British police arrested the British doctor because of his criticism of Zionism.

Doctor Brar is a leader of the British Communist Party. He had appeared on Al Mayadeen several times, in addition to publishing a video of solidarity and sympathy with the media network after the martyrdom of colleagues Farah Omar, Rabih Me'mari, and Hussein Akil.

"It's not surprising to me that Israel would ban your coverage."

Protests in numerous places across the United Kingdom demanded an end to the war in Gaza. Thousands of protesters gathered in the electoral district of Labor Party leader Keir Starmer, criticizing his rejection of a Gaza ceasefire.

Earlier, the United Kingdom welcomed the announced ceasefire agreement, seeing it as a "foundational step" for the release of captives and relieving the humanitarian crisis.

"This agreement represents a foundational step towards providing relief to the families of the hostages and addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza," British Foreign Minister David Cameron said.

The true face of 'western democratic values'.
