UK Tube strike: Protest for better pay continue
Due to the latest strike in a long-running debacle over jobs and pensions, passengers have been asked to avoid the tube and check before they travel.
London Underground workers from the RMT and Unite unions went on strike for 24 hours on Thursday, shutting down the tube and disrupting transit for millions of commuters in the capital.

The Elizabeth Line and national rail services are likely to be significantly busier than usual.
Because of the busier roadways, London buses are likely to be overcrowded and run slower. Trains on the Docklands Light Railway and London Overground may be delayed at the last minute and may not stop at all stations with tube connections.
London Trams will also have a shortened schedule.
