UN Israeli Representative Tore Up Report of Israeli Crimes against Palestinians
The permanent representative of "Israel" to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, tore up a copy of the annual Human Rights Council report on the General Assembly of the International Organization podium in New York because it condemns the crimes of "Israel" against the Palestinians.
Israeli media said that 'Israel's' ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, tore to pieces the Human Rights report from the rostrum of the International Organization's General Assembly in New York.
"For just as that 1975 resolution, equating Zionism with racism, was itself a gross form of anti-Jewish racism, which has no place in this international body, So too, the Human Rights Council’s obsessive anti-Israel bias, embodied, once again, by this report, should have no place in anybody concerned with human rights, security or peace," Erdan said.
He added that he is mimicking what the former ambassador, Chaim Herzog, did when he tore up the anti-Semitic resolution that considered "Zionism a form of racism."
Erdan addressed the assembly arguing that "Since its establishment 15 years ago, the Human rights council has condemned Israel 95 times compared to the 142 against all other countries in the world combined."
Today, I addressed the @UN General Assembly and spoke out against the baseless, one-sided, and outright false accusations from the Human Rights Council's annual report. 1/8 pic.twitter.com/b4YIv2jGaK
