United States warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes across central and northern Yemen late on Saturday, hitting targets in the governorates of al-Bayda and Saada.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, five airstrikes struck the vocational institute in the al-Sawma'ah District, located east of al-Bayda Governorate. The strikes reportedly caused significant damage to the facility, which serves as a key educational and training center in the region.

In a separate assault, three US airstrikes targeted the al-Sahleen area in the al-Salem subdistrict of Kitaf District, situated east of Saada Governorate. The area lies near Yemen’s northern frontier, a region frequently targeted in the ongoing US aggression.

No immediate reports on casualties or the extent of the destruction have been released.

In March, the US launched an aggression on Yemen, claiming to have done so in order to secure international shipping lanes. However, the intensified waves of strikes come as Yemen relaunches its military campaign in support of the Palestinian people, pledging to attack Israeli targets until the war on Gaza is ended.

On Friday, millions flooded Al-Sabeen square, in the capital Sanaa, and over 450 main and branchial squares across 14 Yemeni governorates in a massive show of solidarity with the Palestinian people, their Resistance, and the Yemeni Armed Forces under the banner "Jihad, Steadfastness, and Heroism... We Will Not Abandon Gaza."

The Yemeni rallies, which reaffirmed Yemen’s firm solidarity with Palestine, issued a statement declaring, “We will not let Gaza down, and we will not leave its people alone. We say again: you are not alone.”

The statement emphasized that the escalating American aggression will not deter Yemen from supporting Gaza but will only strengthen its resolve.

The demonstrations called for mobilizing both the official and popular capacities of the Yemeni people to support Palestine and defend Yemen against the US aggression, stressing the importance of general mobilization, heading to training and preparation fields, spending in the path of God, and intensifying the economic boycott.
