The United States goes to new lengths, claiming that it had nothing to do with the bombing of Iran's consulate in Syria as it supplies "Israel" with the weapons it uses to carry out such attacks.

The United States boldly claimed on Tuesday that it was not involved in the Israeli bombing of the Iranian consulate in Syria although it is supplying the Israeli regimes with the weapons and tools necessary to carry out such violations and violent attacks.

"We had nothing to do with the strike in Damascus. We weren't involved in any way whatsoever," National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told a press briefing.

Kirby dismissed as "nonsense" comments by Iran's foreign minister that the United States, the Israeli occupation's main backer and armament supplier, God forbid,  bore responsibility for the attack that violated the sovereignty of two states.

Attempting to absolve the Israelis of another crime, Kirby claimed that there is currently no evidence to suggest that the Israeli forces strike on the World Central Kitchen (WCK) aid workers was intentional, despite the team being hit 3 successive times as they attempted to escape the Israeli bombing.

"Your question presumes, at this very early hour, that it was a deliberate strike that they [the Israeli forces] knew exactly what they were hitting, that they were hitting aid workers and did it on purpose, and there's no evidence of that," Kirby said during a White House press briefing.

Wow, watch this exchange with Kirby.

Reporter: It wasn’t one strike, but three…workers moved the wounded to a 2nd vehicle which was struck, then a 3rd which was struck. How would 2nd & 3rd strikes on marked vehicles be a mistake?

Kirby: Why don’t we see what they [Israel] find pic.twitter.com/IJSIcAuGJB

Israeli media outlet Haaretz reported, citing Israeli security sources, that after surviving one hit and attempting to seek refuge in another car, the aid crew moved to a third and ultimately met were finished off by the Israeli forces there.

"According to sources acquainted with the details of the incident, the Operation Room in charge of securing the route identified an armed person on the truck and suspected this was a terrorist," Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.

The Washington Post reported Friday that the United States approved billions of dollars worth of bombs and fighter jets for the Israeli occupation.

The Washington Post, citing Pentagon and State Department officials, revealed that the new military package consists of 1,800 units of MK-84 2,000-pound bombs, 500 of the MK-82 500-pound bombs, and 25 F-35 fighter jets. The latter is part of a previously approved arms package, and this marks the third 25-jet batch, mounting the F-35 fleet size to 75.

Commenting on the continued aid to "Israel", a White House official said conditioning aid is not the United States policy, the Washington Post relayed.

It is probably worth noting that under US law, if one were to hand over a gun to a criminal and then that criminal went on to commit a crime with said weapon, the first person would be liable for the latter's actions, and knowing "Israel's" nearly eight-decade-long history, it would be idiotic not to characterize it as the "criminal" in this case.

The commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps' Quds Force in Lebanon and Syria, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, was killed in an Israeli attack that targeted the Iranian consulate in Syria in the al-Mazzeh neighborhood, Damascus, Syria, on Monday afternoon, Syrian and Iranian state media reported.

Iranian state television confirmed that the aggression targeted the Iranian consulate building and the residence of the Iranian ambassador in Damascus. It later confirmed that the Quds Force Commander in Lebanon and Syria was killed in the attack.

In further details, the Iranian state television said that the Israeli attack targeted the residence of the Iranian ambassador to Syria.

Later, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported from the vicinity of the Iranian consulate in Damascus that 7 were martyred and several others were wounded in a preliminary toll of the Israeli aggression, confirming that search and rescue operations are underway at the site of the Iranian consulate, which was completely destroyed.
