US Army troops hid in shelters during Abu Dhabi operation
US Central Command spokesman William Urban says on the day of the strike on Abu Dhabi the US Army was on high alert for half an hour.
The US military revealed that during the targeting of the Emirati Abu Dhabi, US soldiers had to hide in shelters in the Al Dafra airbase in Abu Dhabi.
The forces of the US army remained on high alert during the strike, for roughly half an hour.
In a statement, US Central Command spokesman William Urban said US pilots were told that protective equipment would be available within minutes.
Last Monday, the Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained that Operation Yemen hurricane was carried out "in response to the escalation of aggression against the country."
The Spokesperson revealed that "the operation was carried out with five ballistic and winged missiles and a large number of drones." He also warned that they might expand their targets to include more critical sites and facilities in the coming period.
The Yemeni Spokesperson warned foreign companies, citizens, and residents of the "Emirati enemy state", asking them to "stay away from vital installations", considering that "the UAE is an unsafe state as long as its aggressive escalation against Yemen continues."
On Friday, Saree called foreign companies in the UAE to leave the country following the massacre committed by the Saudi-led coalition.
"After the crimes committed by US-Saudi-UAE aggression today against Yemeni people, we advise the foreign companies in Emirates to leave," Saree tweeted.
According to the Yemeni spokesperson, these companies "invest in an unsafe country" whose rulers "continue in their aggression against Yemen."
