US coalition failed to damage Yemen's infrastructure: Israeli official
The former chief of "Israel's" military intelligence has stated that this round of aggression is a test for Donald Trump following Biden's failure in Yemen.

Tamir Hayman, the former head of Aman ["Israel's" Military Intelligence], stated that the US-led coalition had previously made operational mistakes that failed to damage Yemen’s infrastructure.
The key question now, according to Hayman, is whether the Red Sea will be reopened to all ships, rather than the number of attacks the US carries out.
Hayman noted that the Yemenis are the last members of the Axis of Resistance who have not laid down their arms and continue to maintain ties with Gaza.
He argued that the US-led coalition made operational mistakes throughout the battle, failing to damage Yemen’s governing infrastructure, eliminate key leaders, or ensure operational continuity. Instead, its actions were limited to removing immediate threats, without any ground operations, special missions, or significant repercussions for Iran over its allies' actions.
Regarding the recent wave of airstrikes on Yemen, Hayman described them as the first real test of strength for US President Donald Trump. He added that all global threats are under review, and if anything unusual is observed, the "diplomacy of opening the gates of hell" will remain effective.
However, if the strikes fail to stop the Yemenis, he warned, it would signal Trump's weakness toward Hamas and, more importantly, toward Iran, making his strategy of power appear hollow.
US-UK launch aggression on Yemen
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday the launch of military strikes against Yemen's Ansar Allah in response to the group's operations in the Red Sea, warning that if they did not cease targeting Israeli and Israeli-affiliated commercial vessels along with US warships operating in the region, "hell will rain down upon you."
"The Houthi attack on American vessels will not be tolerated. We will use overwhelming lethal force until we have achieved our objective," Trump posted on Truth Social.
The NYT reported that the United States launched large-scale military strikes against "dozens of targets" in Yemen, stating that US President Trump ordered airstrikes on alleged "radars, air defenses, and missile and drone systems," while Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that multiple airstrikes by the US-UK coalition targeted residential neighborhoods, leading to civilian casualties.
The aggression on Yemen follows the Yemeni Armed Forces' announcement of the resumption of military action against all Israeli-linked vessels in a designated zone in the bodies of water surrounding Yemen and has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of at least 132 civilians.
