US ramps up military reinforcements at its occupation bases in Syria
Sputnik reports that the latest delivery included military logistical and hardware to the occupation base in the Conoco gas field.
The United States army has delivered a new convoy of military equipment and hardware to its occupation base in the Conoco gas field in eastern Syria, a Syrian military source told Sputnik on Sunday.
"A US military convoy of over 30 vehicles with logistical equipment and military hardware has arrived at the US base at the Conoco gas field in the north of Deir Ezzor province," the source said, adding that the convoy came from the Al Hasakah province in northeastern Syria.

Sputnik reported last month citing another Syrian military source that the US is bolstering its military presence and training in northern Syria and reinforcing its occupation bases with air defense systems and surveillance towers. The process includes dozens of trucks delivering various military hardware.
Between August 15-19, US troops transported two separate military convoys, totaling 83 trucks, to their occupation bases in al-Hasakah.
One of the shipments was carrying "logistical equipment, weapons, ammunition, and tanks loaded with fuel from Iraq to the [Syrian] governorate of al-Hasakah through the al-Waleed border crossing," the source said then.

Additionally, the US deployed in early August additional Apache helicopters and military equipment to al-Hasakah, also according to a Syrian military source cited by Sputnik.
The source told the agency that a US military plane landed at the Kharab Al-Jir base, carrying military equipment, air defense missiles, logistics materials, and 25 service members.
