US remarks on ME, Gaza expose double standards, duplicity: Sanaa
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yemen calls on the United States to stop interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.
Sanaa's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yemen said it expressed its astonishment at the United States' continued falsification of facts and its alienation from the credibility and transparency it prides itself on.
"The statements of the US State Department and senior American officials regarding the true deterioration of the situation in the Middle East and the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip with blatant American political, military, financial, and logistical support, are nothing but a glaring example of the double standards policy and the state of duplicity of the American officials loyal to the usurping enemy entity," the Ministry indicated in a statement.
Sanaa reiterated that the operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) against Israeli or Israeli-bound ships constitute a "humanitarian and legal act" aimed at stopping the war crimes and genocide committed by the Israeli occupation backed with US support and protection, in violation of international law, the UN Charter, and human values.
The statement called on the United States to stop interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, explaining that the arrests carried out by the Yemeni authorities are in accordance with the country's constitution and laws in defense of state interests.
On June 10, the Yemeni Security Forces uncovered a large espionage network operated by American and Israeli intelligence agencies. Officials revealed that the network had been active within various institutions in Yemen since 2015.

Sanaa concluded its statement on Sunday by calling on the United Nations General Assembly to discuss the politicization of humanitarian aid provided by some countries with the intention of interfering in the internal affairs of the recipient countries and to set standards for providing grants and humanitarian aid in a transparent and clear manner.
The statement comes shortly after Washington accused the YAF of threatening the freedom of international navigation in the Red Sea and imposed fresh sanctions on entities in China for allegedly supplying materials that enable the YAF to manufacture advanced weapons used in attacks against the interests of the United States and its allies.
US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller claimed in a statement that Yemeni attacks on unarmed commercial ships hinder navigation in a vital waterway, emphasizing the United States' commitment to using all available tools to disrupt the flow of military-use materials to Yemen.
This also comes a day after the Yemeni security services published extensive confessions from members of a US-Israeli espionage network, revealing that their operations were aimed at undermining Yemen's economic sector by collecting data to support US presence and advance its agendas.
