Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated on Tuesday that major arms companies, especially US ones, have sold weapons worth $32 billion in the past two months to "Israel", which it used in shedding the blood of Palestinians, including children, women, and elderly individuals, adding, "This is barbarism."

Maduro, during a televised interview published on Tuesday, said, "The war on the Gaza Strip is a demonic bloodthirsty trade war that history has never witnessed before," adding that "the genocidal crimes committed by Israel remind us of the worst crimes of Adolf Hitler."

"We will continue to speak about Israeli crimes; we will never remain silent, and we cannot stay silent in the face of such atrocious crimes," he added.

On November 21, Maduro supported the complaint filed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, against the massacre of children in the Gaza Strip.

During his weekly program titled "With Maduro and More," Maduro stated that the Israeli occupation's crimes against Palestinians "have surpassed the Holocaust, where millions of Jews were annihilated in Nazi detention camps in Germany."

He emphasized that "these genocidal acts are reminiscent of the massacres committed by Hitler against the Jewish people, of the abhorrent and condemned Holocaust." He warned of the danger of remaining silent in the face of such acts of genocide.

Venezuela had previously condemned on November 16 the "derisive statements" made by Israeli President Isaac Herzog, criticizing the dignified stance taken by Latin American countries toward the genocide committed against the noble Palestinian people.

In a statement, Caracas reminded Herzog of the war crimes committed by "Israel", which will be prosecuted "sooner or later under the umbrella of international law," according to the statement. It mentioned that Venezuela joins Latin American countries in calling for an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression and their Nazi-style crimes against the Palestinian people.

Several Latin American countries, including Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Chile, and Colombia, have previously denounced Israeli aggression against Gaza, where more than 18,000 martyrs lost their lives.

Venezuela is on the front lines with Palestine

In October, Venezuela called on the international community to take immediate action and halt the genocide committed by the Israeli entity against Palestinian families, emphasizing that it contradicts all international laws and norms.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro confirmed that his country is on the front line of solidarity with Palestine, stressing that "Bolivarianism cannot remain silent in the face of injustice."

He urged an immediate halt to the Palestinian people's suffering, the implementation of a ceasefire, and the initiation of negotiations based on United Nations agreements, while respecting the resolutions of both the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly.

In his speech during the reopening of the Liberator's Birthplace and the Bolivarian Museum located in the historic center of Caracas, Maduro called for "peace in the Gaza Strip."

In this context, Maduro called on Christians, Muslims, and Jews in the world to demand adherence to the agreements reached at the United Nations, calling to stop the massacre of the Palestinian people.
