The American-British aggression aircraft launched three airstrikes on Hodeidah International Airport, located south of the Hodeidah Governorate on the Red Sea, on Friday, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
These airstrikes come just hours before major demonstrations are scheduled to take place in the governorate and throughout other governorates this afternoon. The protests are in support of Palestine's Gaza Strip and in rejection of the Saudi-US escalation against Yemen.
YAF target three Israeli, American ships in Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on July 5 that the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) carried out three operations targeting American and Israeli-affiliated and bound ships in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, achieving direct hits.
In the Arabian Sea, the American vessel, Maersk Sentosa, was targeted in a joint operation between the naval and missile forces, using several ballistic missiles and drones, achieving direct hits.
Also in the Arabian Sea, the Marthopolis ship was targeted by the UAV force with several drones, confirming a direct hit. The operation came after the ship violated the maritime ban the Yemeni Resistance imposed on ships heading to occupied Palestinian ports.
In the Gulf of Aden, the Yemeni UAV force targeted the Israeli MSC Patnaree ship, with several drones, confirming direct hits.
Saree stated that these operations came to champion the Palestinian Resistance in solidarity with the people of Palestine and in response to the US-UK aggression against Yemen.
He further affirmed the continued commitment of the Yemeni Armed Forces to counter Israeli maritime activity in the region of operations, until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
