Warnings against Allowing Jewish "Silent Prayer" within Al-Aqsa
Occupation court decision allowing settlers to perform “silent prayer” in al-Aqsa premises is invalid and constitutes flagrant aggression against all Muslims.
Palestinian factions and Arab parties have warned against the repercussions of the Israeli occupation’s decision that allows Jews to perform their “silent prayer” within the al-Aqsa Mosque premises.
In the same context, the so-called Magistrate Court in the occupied al-Quds ordered the occupation forces to drop the ban issued against the extremist Rabbi Aryeh Lippo to prevent him from being at the al-Aqsa Mosque, considering the Rabbi's daily incursions into al-Aqsa premises as very important.
On its part, Hamas movement considered the decision as “flagrant aggression against al-Aqsa Mosque”, and the Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) warned against the repercussions of the decision, which it considered invalid. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Hussam Abu al-Rub also warned against a disaster if the occupation continues to issue such decisions.
Similarly, Jordan considered the decision as provocative to all Muslims. The Archbishop of Sebastia from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of the occupied al-Quds, Atallah Hanna, said Christian churches reject the Israeli court’s decision and consider it as blatantly oppressive, adding that it threatens the Palestinians' very existence in the occupied al-Quds.
