West Bank Resistance confronts Israeli raid on Nablus, Balata camp
Palestinian Resistance fighters confront the Israeli occupation forces' incursion into the eastern area of Nablus and the Balata camp, directly engaging troops and ambushing Israeli forces.
The al-Quds Brigades - Nablus Battalion announced that its fighters confronted Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raiding the eastern area of Nablus and the Balata camp.
The Resistance fighters targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles with heavy volleys of bullets and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), as per the requirements of the field, the Brigades reported.
In a statement, the Brigades confirmed that the fighters were targeting the Israeli occupation forces with a hail of bullets and explosive devices. They engaged in fierce battles, side by side with their other factions, against the IOF in the fighting axes in Balata Camp, it said, adding that infantry forces and military vehicles also came under attack with heavy volleys of bullets and explosive devices.
In turn, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah movement, said that its fighters confronted the Israeli raid on the Balata camp on Friday dawn, across all axes, fiercely engaging the IOF for hours using machine guns.
The fighters targeted military vehicles and bulldozers using highly explosive Zoufi IEDs, inflicting severe damage upon the invading forces.
Moreover, the al-Aqsa Martyrs fighters caught an Israeli infantry force in a complex ambush in the vicinity of the Hashashin axis. Upon the arrival of a second infantry force, a highly explosive device was detonated before volleys of bullets were fired at its soldiers, causing direct hits among their ranks.
The fighters were also able to target the Shaked settlement west of Jenin with heavy gunfire before safely withdrawing on Thursday night.
The al-Mujahideen Brigades, on the other hand, detonated an IED against an Israeli infantry force in the Balata camp, dealing serious damage to the Israeli unit.
