The Palestinian Red Cross stated that its ambulance crews responded to 53 injuries during confrontations with the occupation forces, which erupted in the towns of Barqa and Beit Dajan in Nablus.
Among the injuries, the Red Cross reported that 7 were shot with rubber-coated metal bullets, 43 suffocated with tear gas, and 3 suffered injuries while fleeing from the bullets of the occupation.
Hundreds of Palestinians protested against settlements in the areas and the continued establishment of outposts on Palestinian lands.
On Thursday, about a hundred Palestinians were wounded by rubber bullets and suffocated with tear gas during confrontations with occupation forces in Burqa, northwest Nablus.
Furthermore, an elderly Palestinian woman was martyred yesterday after she was run over by an extremist Israeli settler on the Ramallah-Nablus road, and the perpetrator fled the scene.
Local sources said that the settler deliberately ran over the elderly woman near the town of Sinjil, seriously injuring her before she was announced dead.
The sources announced that the martyr is 60-year-old Ghadeer Anis Masalma.
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem warned that the escalation of settler terrorism against the people of the West Bank will be confronted with more acts of resistance and the occupation and its settlers will pay the price for these crimes.
