West seeks war with Russia to dismember it: Maduro
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro accuses the US of seeking war to dismember Russia and put an end to the hopes for the multipolar world.
Western powers want a war with Russia to dismember it and abolish the multipolar world, according to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
"The West is coordinating economic, diplomatic, and political efforts in the big war against Russia. We say that from Venezuela: they are seeking the war to dismember Russia into parts and put an end to the hopes for the multipolar world," Maduro said on late Friday.
Venezuela's President also referred to Western media collaboration as an "information tyranny".
On February 24, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine to support the people's republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
The Western countries have strongly condemned the Russian military operation in Ukraine, calling it an invasion, and imposed harsh sanctions on Moscow.

The newspaper reported current and former US officials as stating that Russia's military activity in Ukraine brought attention to Moscow's Latin American friends, prompting the US to assess a potential threat in the event of further escalation of tensions.
The US approached Venezuela eyeing the Latin country's reserves which it hopes might be used to compensate for Russian oil exports after the draconian wave of sanctions hit the sector.
