"Window on the Israeli Army" shows IOF eroding as an institution
The Al Mayadeen Network presents a series of daily reports entitled "Window on the Israeli Army."
On Monday, Al Mayadeen launched a series of daily reports entitled "Window on the Israeli Army," which serves to highlight the deteriorating situation of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), the main institution of "Israel," and with it the entire occupation entity.
In its first episode, Al Mayadeen focused on what Israeli analysts' discussions regarding the crisis of how the occupation army started off as an all-encompassing army of settlers, regardless of their social class, to become an organization that the rich can evade and the poor must adhere to.
In the words of Israeli analysts, the IOF went from being "the people's army to become the army of the poor."

Al Mayadeen's analyst for Israeli affairs, Abbas Ismail, said that those who join the reserves in the IOF and serve in the combat brigades "are from the poor classes, from the suburbs, or from the ideologies of the Religious Zionism movement."

It should be noted that the internal gaps and negative trends adopted by the IOF prompted Israeli researchers and experts to sound the alarm and warn of the accumulation of evidence of its failure to perform its function as the "people's army" as it is described, after it turned, in their opinion, into a "classist army" which reinforces differences and exacerbates internal divisions.
In a related context, the results of an opinion poll, conducted by the "Coalition of Youth Movements" in "Israel," and reported by the Israeli Channel 12 showed that "a third of Israeli youths do not want to be recruited," noting that "this data is dangerous and heartbreaking" for Israelis, as they point towards a failing military and security institution.
