World watching aggression on Jenin, not lifting a finger: Archbp Hanna
The Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia says the spilled blood of the Palestinian martyrs shall result in the defeat of the Israeli occupation.
The Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia, Archbishop Atallah Hanna, pointed out on Tuesday that what happened in Jenin exposes the savagery of the Israeli occupation, adding that it is unfortunate that the world is watching the aggression against Jenin without lifting a finger.
Hanna indicated that the spilled blood of the martyrs shall result in the defeat of the Israeli occupation, expressing full support to the people of Jenin.
He said the continuous aggression of the Israeli occupation on the city and camp of Jenin is a horrific crime against humanity and clear proof of the savagery and brutality of the occupation.
The Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia underlined that the Jenin camp will remain a symbol of steadfastness and clinging to the land and identity, pointing out that the occupation has turned this camp into a laboratory for all its deadly weapons, in a failed attempt to break the will of the Resistance.
He also stressed that the Palestinians, no matter how much they sacrificed, would not surrender and that the blood of the martyrs in the Jenin camp and across Palestine would not go in vain and would inevitably lead to the defeat of the Israeli occupation so that the Palestinian people could enjoy freedom and regain their full national rights.
This comes as the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the city and camp of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, for the second day in a row, while Palestinian Resistance fighters bravely confront Israeli occupation forces with barrages of bullets and detonating explosive devices.
Earlier, the Jenin Brigade confirmed that its Resistance fighters downed an Israeli occupation drone over the Jenin camp's sky -- the fourth during the Fury of Jenin Battle.
In the same context, the Brigade announced that its engineering unit detonated a number of explosives in the occupation forces on the Zayed roundabout and achieved direct hits on Israeli vehicles.
It added that its fighters targeted occupation forces on Al-Damaj front with heavy bullets.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli occupation aggression against the city and camp of Jenin had risen to 10 after the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that it had recovered a martyr's body from Horsh Al-Saada area.
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation air force renewed its shelling of sites in Jenin, as occupation forces stormed the city's neighborhoods, amid massive destruction as a result of the brutal aggression.
Israeli occupation warplanes bombed civilian sites, including a site in Al-Damaj area, while aircraft of various types flew over the city's sky.
Fearing the response of the Palestinian resistance, the Israeli occupation military announced the deployment of Iron Dome batteries in the south and north of occupied Palestine, in anticipation of rocket fire.
Palestinian villages and cities witnessed vigils and marches in solidarity with Jenin, calling on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli aggression.
