The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced that they carried out a precision military operation using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile with multiple warheads, striking several sensitive sites in the occupied city of al-Quds.
In a statement delivered by spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Armed Forces confirmed that the operation successfully achieved its objectives. The statement emphasized that the strike came in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the ongoing genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation.
The Yemeni Armed Forces stressed that the operation was part of their continued support for Gaza, reaffirming their position alongside the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Brigadier General Saree underlined that the Armed Forces are closely monitoring developments in the Strip, maintaining coordination with the Resistance factions to respond to unfolding field situations in a way that serves the aspirations and demands of the Palestinian people.

Coordination with the resistance
According to the statement, the Armed Forces said they would continue their support operations until the aggression against Gaza stops and the blockade is completely lifted. The spokesperson reaffirmed their commitment to defending the Palestinian cause remains unwavering.
The Israeli occupation army reported detecting the launch of a missile from Yemen toward occupied Palestine at dawn. Sirens were heard across central areas and west of the Dead Sea, while airspace at Ben Gurion Airport was temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.
Expanding Yemeni military operations
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have intensified their operations against "Israel" over the past two weeks, striking multiple Israeli sites and infrastructure in solidarity with Gaza.
On October 4, the YAF launched a missile from Yemen toward occupied Palestine, triggering sirens in several regions and forcing the closure of Ben Gurion Airport’s airspace. The strike underscored Yemen’s advancing missile and drone capabilities.
According to Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted 18 operations during the past week alone, targeting Israeli-linked military and maritime assets. The operations included missile and drone strikes as well as naval actions enforcing Yemen’s navigation restrictions on ships heading toward occupied ports.
These actions have, over the past two years, disrupted commercial activity in Eilat and inflicted significant economic losses.

Ceasefire negotiations progress
The operation comes against the backdrop of what is increasingly regarded as the most substantial push toward a ceasefire agreement to end the war on Gaza. Trump stated on October 3 that talks were "nearing completion" and revealed that "Israel" had agreed to an initial withdrawal line pending Hamas’s formal acceptance.
Hamas confirmed its readiness to release all Israeli captives under the proposed framework while stressing that the broader political terms must align with international law and Palestinian rights.
Despite diplomatic momentum, "Israel" continues its military onslaught across Gaza. Between October 1 and 3, Israeli strikes killed more than 200 Palestinians, including dozens of children.
