YAF launch attack on Ben Gurion Airport upon Netanyahu's arrival
The YAF spokesperson says the latest operation was carried out using a ballistic missile of the Palestine 2 type, just a day after the YAF targeted Tel Aviv using the same missile.
The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) targeted on Saturday the Israeli Ben Gurion airport in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) in parallel with the arrival of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the location, announced YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree.
In a statement, Saree mentioned that the operation comes in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the Israeli crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.
The YAF spokesperson confirmed that the latest operation was carried out using a ballistic missile of the Palestine 2 type, just a day after the YAF launched an attack against a military target also in Tel Aviv using the same missile and a vital location in occupied Askalan using the locally-manufactured Yafa drone.
The Brigadier General underlined that the YAF, alongside all the honorable and free people of the nation, will continue to respond to Israeli crimes and will not hesitate to escalate further as necessary to meet the demands of the current phase, contributing to the defense of Gaza and Lebanon.
Elsewhere, Saree asserted that such operations will not cease until the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon comes to an end.
The announcement comes on the same day as Hezbollah released a statement announcing the martyrdom of its Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The Israeli occupation had earlier launched a series of heavy airstrikes on residential neighborhoods in the Southern Suburb of Beirut. The IOF announced that the goal of the attack was the assassination of Sayyed Hassan, and Israeli Army Radio pointed out that F-35 aircraft carried out the airstrikes using bunker-buster bombs.
