YAF op. genuine expression of right to defend Palestine: Factions
In a joint statement exclusive for Al Mayadeen, the Palestinian Resistance factions say the Yemeni strike on Tel Aviv marks the "end of an era in which the Zionist enemy rampaged undeterred."
The Palestinian Resistance factions commended the actions of the support fronts in support of the Palestinian people, in retaliation for the blood of innocent people in Palestine, and in response to the genocidal war.
In a joint statement exclusive for Al Mayadeen, the Resistance factions described the Yemeni army's operation that targeted the depth of the occupied territories in Tel Aviv as a "genuine expression of the right of the Ummah, its peoples, and all the free people around the world to defend Palestine, al-Quds, and the al-Aqsa Mosque."
The factions stressed that the operation represents a practical and obligatory contribution to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood from the support fronts in response to the call of the Palestinian people and marks the "end of an era in which the Zionist enemy rampaged undeterred and without facing consequences."
The statement indicated that the Yemeni Resistance, led by Ansar Allah, the Lebanese Resistance, led by Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, and all the support fronts are an integral part of the Ummah’s course of resistance with all its components, factions, and intellectual orientations. This, according to the factions, was exemplified by the free people of Jordan in the operation carried out by martyr Maher al-Huwaitat.
The Palestinian Resistance factions reiterated their call to the free people of the world to escalate acts of Resistance in all its forms, methods, and means and to confront Zionist-American terrorism wherever it exists. They also urged everyone to declare a state of mobilization, each according to their abilities, to put an end to the genocide.
Earlier, the Palestinian Resistance factions issued separate statements commending the Yemeni operation in support of Gaza.
The statements come shortly after the top-tier operation carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which targeted an Israeli military site near Tel Aviv on Sunday morning.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Sunday that a new hypersonic ballistic missile launched from Yemen successfully struck its military target in Tel Aviv.
Saree reported that the Yemeni Armed Forces executed the operation using the new missile, which traveled approximately 2,040 kilometers and hit its target in Tel Aviv within just 11.5 minutes.
Israeli air defense systems failed to intercept the missile, he affirmed.
Saree highlighted that this operation is part of the fifth phase of Yemen's strategic military efforts, showcasing significant advancements in missile technology. He emphasized that these new technologies are designed to bypass all US-Israeli surface and maritime defensive systems.
He further asserted that Yemen will not be deterred by geographical obstacles or the countermeasures of US and UK forces, reiterating Yemen's commitment to its religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities in support of the Palestinian people.
He warned that "Israel" should anticipate more sophisticated strikes and operations as Yemen approaches the first anniversary of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, including responses to "Israel's" aggression on Hodeidah and ongoing support for the oppressed Palestinians.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time the Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted Tel Aviv. On July 19, the YAF's Yafa drone struck an important Israeli target in the occupied Palestinian city of Yafa, achieving a direct hit, killing an Israeli settler and injuring several others.
Consequently, "Israel" launched a series of airstrikes on an oil storage facility in the port city of Hodeidah, killing several Yemeni people and injuring tens of others.
Following the Israeli aggression on Hodeidah, Saree reiterated that occupied Yafa is an "unsafe zone" and that a response to the aggression on civilian facilities is undoubtedly coming.
The spokesperson emphasized that the YAF "will not hesitate" to strike vital Israeli targets in the Israeli entity and that operations in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza will not stop regardless of the consequences.
He also made it clear that the Yemeni people "are preparing for a long war with this enemy [Israel] until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted and the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in Gaza are over."
Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, also revealed that the Yafa drone strike on Tel Aviv marked the initiation of the fifth phase of Yemeni operations.
