The younger Netanyahu lashed out on X after Macron reiterated support for a Palestinian state “without Hamas,” delivering a fiery and undiplomatic rebuke that quickly went viral.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s son, Yair Netanyahu, lashed out at French President Emmanuel Macron following his statement on X in support of a Palestinian state “without Hamas.”

In a heated response, Yair posted, “Scr*w you!” before launching into a tirade against France’s territorial holdings: "Yes to independence of New Caledonia! Yes to independence of French Polynesia! Yes to independence of Corsica! Yes to independence of the Basque Country! Yes to independence of French Guinea! Stop the neo imperialism of France in west Africa!”

This comes shortly after French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France is preparing to recognize a Palestinian state within the coming months, with a formal move possibly taking place at a United Nations conference in New York this June.

Speaking to France 5 television, Macron said, "We must move toward recognition, and we will do so in the coming months." He noted that the planned recognition could be finalized during a conference co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, aimed at settling the Palestinian issue. 

"Our aim is to chair this conference with Saudi Arabia in June, where we could finalize this movement of mutual recognition (of a Palestinian state) by several parties," Macron stated.

Meanwhile, "Israel", led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, continues its genocidal war in Gaza—striking densely populated areas, hospitals, and vital civilian infrastructure—killing more than 50,000 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children.

Not an isolated incident

This is far from the first time Yair Netanyahu has sparked controversy, both domestically and abroad. Known for his inflammatory social media presence, he has frequently drawn criticism—even from within "Israel".

In recent years, he has attacked journalists, accused the Israeli Supreme Court of corruption, and openly clashed with his father's political rivals. In 2020, he was forced to delete a tweet suggesting the establishment of a "Greater Israel" that would occupy parts of Jordan.

He has also been criticized for promoting conspiracy theories, mocking anti-government protesters, and making derogatory remarks about women and minority groups.

Yair’s latest outburst targeting President Macron adds to a growing list of incidents that have made him a divisive figure—even as he continues to exert influence in his father’s political orbit.
